Peter Lloyd, Consultant

Peter has thirty years of City experience, dealing closely with portfolio managers principally in relation to the UK equity market. He has worked for Citigroup, Schroders and BZW and was head of UK equity sales for Schroder Securities before its acquisition by Citigroup. Working as an independent consultant in recent years, Peter has produced detailed Institutional Shareholder Surveys, mainly on FTSE 100 companies including Thomson Reuters and Allied Domecq, and as such has been involved in advising Boards on shareholder views, and how to implement changes that would benefit their relationship with investors.

Whilst working in the investment banking area, Peter was involved in the flotation of many companies on the London Stock Exchange, and helped create the marketing material for investor road shows and major presentations that explained the company’s business and strategy to key investors. This process involved advising executive directors of the companies in relation to investor views and the market background. Peter has a special interest in sell-side research and helped launch an independent research house, concentrating on small and new companies listing on global stock markets.

Peter is a Trustee of Age Concern in Wandsworth and chairman of a football supporters Trust which promotes greater supporter and community involvement in the activities of Football League clubs.
